I had several speaking engagements in Illinois this year. I was invited to be the featured speaker with the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Central Illinois Chapter. That evening, I delivered a keynote and magic performance to kick off the 140th anniversary of the Decatur YMCA. The projects continued the next day as I led a 3-hour training on Building a Culture of Philanthropy. This was an incredible day, advancing the work of the board and leadership staff of the YMCA.
